Who buys the most candles? Surprisingly, it’s almost a tie between male and female customers as to who buys more candles since men are “getting into candles” so it isn’t just a “girl thing” anymore. The male customers have commented to her that candles help them relax after a stressful day. Being featured in a TV show or magazine is very rewarding but for Sonya the most rewarding part of her business is when the customer returns for more candles or another gift. She makes it her business to get to know each customer and learn more about their personal taste each time they return and stays in close contact with her subscribers.
